Topic: This and That
Yesterday, somewhere around noon, a switch was flipped and spring arrived. In the morning it was quite cool out and raining. In the afternoon, it was well and truly warm. Today was a gorgeous, sunny, warm day. It seems as if almost overnight most of the trees have come into full leaf. I'm very much enjoying the great weather.
Ryan is already tan! It's funny, because he's been in long sleeves until today, so his hands are several shades darker than his arms. I'm sure he'll even out soon, even with sunscreen! He's also already gotten more than one comment on his coloring, just in the last couple of days. Luckily, he seems to tan and not burn (especially if last summer was any indication).
The last couple of days have been busy, but mostly with more mundane sorts of things, like running errands, and plain running. :) However, I do realize that even the mundane takes on a whole different flavor when done in a foreign country. Also, there's always something interesting to see, if you keep your eyes open, no matter where you happen to be. Yesterday evening I made a last minute trip to ASDA for a couple of things. There's a gas station nearby. There was a huge tanker truck at the station. As I walked by, I noticed a tiny little Pooh bear hanging from one of the mirrors!
